Think you know who did this front end?

1977 Nissan AD-2 concept

That’s right, Nissan did for its AD-2 concept. Despite its debut in 1977, “AD-2” was neither a play on “1982” nor a reference to Star Wars droids. Instead, “AD” stood for Advanced Design and the “2” was because it followed the mid-engined “AD-1″concept, from 1975. Conversely, this concept explored a no-holds-barred, six-passenger luxury sedan with advanced mechanicals (including a 2.8-liter EFI inline-six with a 4-link rear from the Nissan Laurel) and ultra contemporary design (including Japanese-regulation mirrors that had been integrated into the hood and fenders).
