The press release didn’t include any pictures of what it looks like under the hood but it will reportedly house a 6.2-liter V8 that will produce 415 hp and 415 lb.ft. of torque. That’s the same horsepower the late Pontiac G8 GXP produced but 10 additional pound-feet of torque. A 0-60 mph run is estimated to take about five seconds. More than sufficient to garner the use of a double S for this car. But still, as the model name?

I can’t help but wonder if Chevy is planning an SS SS model.

This next picture is a reminder to consumers and fans that Chevrolet is indeed in the rwd performance car business. In fact, there are rumors swirling around about yet another rwd performance car in the stable, one smaller than Camaro.
