Site News: A Designer’s Treasure Trove
Mr. Ruzzin’s at it again…
I got an email this morning from Mr. Dick Ruzzin, famed auto designer and author of yesterday’s guest post here on Autos of Interest. In the electronic message he told me that he had a few other things I might be interested in seeing.
Let’s just say “interested” is an understatement when describing my reaction.
Am I dreaming?
Along with the message, he attached a sample picture (shown below) to give me a hint at what he was describing.
How cool is that? The sketches shown above represent just a smattering of his personal collection of 200 drawings–all of which are his handiwork. He indicated to me that this collection dates from the fall of 1968 to December of 1974. In this sample image, I spot at least two Pontiacs, one of which is titled, “Grand Prix”.
I’ve already responded with great enthusiasm and will do my best to work with Mr. Ruzzin to present here any work and descriptions he is willing to provide.
If you like this sort of thing and would like to see more, feel free to express yourself in the comments section below.
Once again, a tremendous thanks goes out to Mr. Ruzzin for his generosity and willingness to share information and images with me.
